Biodiversity
Our sustainable farming practices include protecting biodiversity and implementing a plan to conserve natural habitats for wildlife in the Negev desert of Israel.
Linking between agriculture and biodiversity reservation:
- 1. Allocation of abandoned fields at the edge of our plantations for the local flora and fauna.
- 2. Maintaining a variety of “wild-type” Jojoba species.
- 3. Monitoring & measuring our efforts by Biodiversity Action Plan for farming activities (UEBT guidelines, 2019).
